And if you don't pay taxes? If you are one of the people that has say 11 children and gets "democratic aid" to raise them, what then? How does this sound for a tax system? We have taxes that are solid ie you can't change those for things like healthcare, police, military etc. However the welfare taxes are optional in other words I can choose whether I give that money up in welfare. Rather than the government forcing me to pay them.

Last few presidents pushed, started and funded many wars. No issue on that. Trump has yet to start a war, an has made progress in ending wars that past presidents have started and yet op thinks its trumps fault for starting wars? Also, who was it that gave big banks, wall street, and major corporations billions of our taxes because they all were doing bad business? It's as if Obama didnt exist to these idiots. Do those who did not contribute benefit from democratic socialism? If yes, then look at what they're benefiting from (in what form). If it's medical care, then you can expect that medication and hospitals are subsidized. If it's food, then the food industries are subsidized. If it's shelters, then shelters are subsidized. It doesn't have to be in the shape of a corporation. If the answer was no, then why take money at all?

Why are people still defending and supporting democratic socialism? That concept was proven to be an oxymoron in the post-war, 20th century thanks to the book by Hayek: „The Road to Serfdom”.
