Quality tool, should last a lifetime.
Great crimping plires, everyone needs a pair of these. Note the insulated terminal notches, the large notch is for 12ga and down, the other side 14ga and up.

Very high quality
This is a great crimper. Amazon took almost two months to send it (what a waste of Prime), but I can't take that away from the product. It makes crimps easily and they are very strong and will not pull out. Much better than any other crimper I have used. I would have cancelled this order due to the delay, but I wanted a crimper that worked at the open end for places that were hard to reach. Glad I waited for it.

Excellent tool
Best crimper I have used yet. I can pick up and play with a tool a little and know if it's a good tool before I use it, this is a good tool. Purchased one and re wired two Polaris RZR1000's plus accessories in a week, I put a LOT of use in them, very happy with my set. The cutters are nice and don't bind, the crimpers are forward of the Apex so you have good mechanical advantage and can put a nice crimp on both insulated and non-insulated terminals. I like Klein, and I like to shop around before purchasing a quality tool, this is where everyone pointed me to. Hopefully I can point you in the same direction

Feel solid, work well, made in the USA.
These are a great set of crimpers. After a trailer wiring fiasco involving wires falling out of "crimped" connectors, the search for a quality set was on. For some reason I remembered an old electrician I used to know saying the only tools he would use at work were made by Klein. So I ended up getting these. To be totally honest, all the others I've ever used were cheapo' sets from China which felt flimsy and often had the rubber grips slide off or would flex awkwardly sideways during crimping. "Crimping" where then the wires later slide out of the connectors. I'm no electrician, just a guy that works on wiring stuff around the house or boat or motorcycle. These will make secure connections easier. For some reason the description lists these as "Imported" but it clearly says "Made in USA" on the handle, and the Klein website says they are also made here... so there you go.

THE BEST crimper above the rest
I think these are THE BEST electrical crimpers you can get. They never fail me, and I have tried many brands. I am in the automotive repair business and use these all day every single day. unfortunately what happens many times is that I will leave a tool in someones car and I will never see it again. (people don't bring tools back even though they know they do not belong to them). I have tried Snap on, Cornwell (which I would say are second best) Irwin brand (they make Vise Grip) The Cresent Brand, Thomas and betts, and Garner Bender. And I will only choose Klein from now on.

KLEIN!!
Simple and super reliable. I like tools that have a specific function instead of one that does multiple crazy things. This is the best I could find and of course Klein is topch a top notch brand. What more could you ask for?

These crimps should be in stores instead of the junk thats out there. The handles provide surprisingly good leverage, which I think could help out someone with a wrist injury. More importantly, the jaws. The clamping surface is wide, which serves to prevent cutting through jackets on insulated connectors and provides a better grip on the wire stands when compressed. One of those quality tools that'll make you stop looking at alternatives.

Quality
These are awesome for wire gauge 8-12. They are pretty big and get annoying to use with 14 + gauge. Bought a separate crimper for smaller wire

Third one.... because people steal them!
Best multi-use crimpers on the market for a journeyman electrician's workload or an industrial maintenance tech in a typical plant. They are lightweight, feel natural in the hand, securely crimp everything you'll typically encounter, and the action is consistent regardless of an abusive owner!

but this one is far and away the best. No need to spend larger $$ on the ...
Stop using cheap crimp tools and get this one now! I've done more heat shrink crimps on AWG 8 through 22 than I can possibly recall with a variety of crimping tools, but this one is far and away the best. No need to spend larger $$ on the ratcheting crimp tools. Klein tools always deliver on quality and value. Plus, when you show up with a pouch full of Klein tools, it immediately demands respect from those you're working with. Like other crimp tools, this one can have the tendency to tear the plastic. However, after you do a few of them, you'll be able to judge for yourself how to do it without issue. I wish I would have had this tool from the start.
